Membership Categories

Regular Membership: The criteria for regular membership in the ACPS is:

(i) Four year B.Sc. in Chemistry from University of Saskatchewan, University of  Regina or a CIC Accredited undergraduate chemistry program, AND
(ii) Two years work experience as a chemist
Alternative criteria: active registration as a Professional Chemist in another Canadian province (C. Chemist in Ontario; Ordre des chimistes du Québec)
 
Associate Membership: Associate membership is offered to individuals working towards the criteria for regular membership.

Disclaimer: Membership status will be reviewed when the association establishes criteria for recognition as a professional chemist and a process is established for evaluating these criteria.
