The fundamental purpose for the Association for the Chemical Profession of Saskatchewan (ACPS) is the protection of the public
The association is incorporated as a not for profit corporation as a stepping-stone for a formal self-regulatory body for Chemists in the Province of Saskatchewan. The ACPS intends to provide self-regulation of the profession by certifying members' training, and ensuring that members meet high ethical expectation and commit to ongoing professional development.
The ACPS works closely with sibling associations from across Canada, and is a charter member of the Federaton of Canada's Professional Chemists (FCPC). Together, we work to develop the profession and to ease transferability between provinces.
